First up we have Igugu Lekapa captain Howard 'Howie' Davids, the ever reliable defender has showed great versatility, occupying various positions in defence, where he lead by example throughout the season.

Cape Town All Stars: How did it all start for a youngster from Rocklands, Mitchells Plain?

Howard Davids: It's really funny a friend took me to train with him at a club(Red Rovers FC) he played for and from there the love for the game started.

CTAS: Describe your playing style, any current player you may be compared with?

HD: Hard working,very determined,winning attitude and always wanting to have a good performance. I would say Gennaro Gattuso.

CTAS: How do you unwind?

HD: I watch movies and listen to House music.

CTAS: Current song you have on repeat?

HD: The Mi Casa album is on repeat.

CTAS: Who has the best dance moves in team?

HD: It has to be Tank(Mthokozisi Msomi)

CTAS: Favourite dish/restaurant(hang out spot)?

HD: Anything Seafood, I don't have a hang out place but love being at the beach.

CTAS: Favourite International player and team?
HD: Xavi Hernández(FC Barcelona), I am Manchester United supporter.

CTAS: Other sports you enjoy besides football?

HD: Cricket

CTAS: Future Ambitions?

HD: Make it to the PSL then hopefully play abroad and finally playing for my country.
