Milano United 2-2 Cape Town All Stars
07 November 2014 - Philippi Stadium - By Stevlin M
Coach Boebie Solomons' 5 changes to the Stars starting XI almost paid dividends, but a goal at the death by the Kinnes, denied Stars their 2nd win of the season.
The first half was an evenly balanced affair, with chances on either side of the field. Stars tho were clinical in front of goal, as they took a 1-2 lead into the break.
It only took the visitors 3 minutes to find the back of the net through Amigo Memela, only to be cancelled out 10 minutes later by the experienced Nasief Morris. The crowd were well entertained, with another experience campaigner Brent Carelse, who on debut restored the lead for Stars into break.
Stars dominated most of the 2nd half play, only to be stunned by a Brent Adonis stoppage time goal.
The result sees the promotion driven Kinnes retain poll position overnight, while Stars made 6 draws from 10 matches.
